Anthropology Majors Everywhere!!!
The Department of Anthropology hosted the first annual Welcome Back Open House for Undergraduate Majors and those who are interested in becoming one! Hosted by our Director of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Vincent LaMotta, we welcomed more than 50 undergraduates for pizza and discussion about the numerous opportunities offered to undergraduates through the Anthropology Department Major. Guests from the Field Museum, various Field Schools, Workshop Hosts, and opportunities for those looking to find out how Anthropology can be used outside academia gave presentations. Surprising many, Dr. LaMotta also announced this year's Undergraduate Award Winners - those will be announced on the website in the coming weeks!
