Dr. Álvarez Velasco and Dr. Bedi Awarded LAS Diversity Award
Introduction
Anthropology Assistant Professor Dr. Soledad Álvarez Velasco and Professor Tarini Bedi, along with Latin American and Latino Studies Professor Xóchitl Bada, have received an LAS Diversity Awartd for their project "Expanding Transnational Curriculum and Research on Justice and Violence Through International Partnerships." This award will provide support to develop a long-term collaborative curricular exchange between UIC's Anthropology Department and The Centre for Research and Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology in Mexico (CIESAS).
