Dr. Soledad Álvarez Velasco, Assistant Professor of Anthropology and Latin American & Latino Studies, has been named a Faculty Fellow for the Institute of the Humanities for the 2025-2026 academic year. Her project is entitled "Inhabiting the Transit: Migrant Spatial Struggles from Global South America to the U.S."
