Dr. Bandama and Colleagues Publish Book
Introduction
UIC Anthropology Lecturer and Assistant Curator in African Anthropology at The Field Museum of Natural History Dr. Foreman Bandama along with Curator Emeritus Dr. John Terrell and their colleagues have published a collaborative book on Intelligence. The book, published by Berghahn, grapples with the question of what it means to be intelligent in the face of modern scientific tests. They challenge several misconceptions and ultimately contend that intelligence is awareness of one’s limitations and the acknowledgement of the existence of other ways of knowing that may not always be culturally accessible to you.
