Dr. Hendrickson Winner of 2025-2026 Graduate Mentoring Award
Introduction
UIC Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in Anthropology Dr. Mitch Hendrickson has been awarded the Graduate Mentoring Award by the Graduate College for the 2025-2026 academic year. In recognition of the importance of mentoring graduate students for their future success and of all the work that goes into supporting and sustaining a graduate program, the Graduate College developed this award to reward excellence and innovation in all aspects of mentoring graduate students by directors of graduate studies at the University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Hendrickson's work was assessed as one of the top in the entire university.
