UIC Anthropology PhD student Rosa Maria Varillas was awarded the "Premio a la Excelencia – TUMI USA Student Award” which recognizes Peruvian immigrants in the United States who demonstrate solidarity, professional excellence, dedication to their work, and service to the community.
