Multiple Accomplishments for Graduate Student Besan Jaber
Introduction
UIC Anthropology PhD student Besan Jaber has been awarded an Award for Graduate Research from the UIC Graduate College. These funds will help support her summer pilot work on "Palestine and the Praxis of Solidarity and Activism in/from Jordan." She also recently co-authored the introduction to an issue of Gatherings, an interdisciplinary and intersectional feminist journal, on "Palestine and Campus Movements: Sites of Transnational Feminist Solidarities."
