Themal Ellawalla wins Best Paper Award
Hearty congrats to Themal who won the Center for South Asian Studies Award for Best Paper at the 2020 School of Pacific and Asian Studies Graduate Student Conference at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. His paper was entitled: "On the Austere Gaze: Surveillance and Disciplining of Queer Excess on the Streets of Colombo".
