My research and work experiences are generally situated in the intersections of feminism, social justice movements, political activism, development, and governance in the global south, particularly in the Middle East. For my PhD dissertation, I am interested in solidarity, its meaning, practice, and limits between different solidarity movements in the global south. I aim to examine fault lines, continuities, and divergences across solidarities enacted across global divides to highlight connections across distinct epistemic frameworks and practices, shaped by particular historical, cultural, and geopolitical contexts.
