Student Center West
828 S Wolcott Ave
Chicago, IL 60612
Reaching the Venue:
Airports: Chicago has two airports, each accessible by the “L” (Elevated) trains, which are $2.25 a ride.
3 day passes can be purchased at the airports. Most airlines fly to O’Hare- which connects to the Blue Line. Southwest, AirTrans and Delta fly into Midway Airport, accessible via the Orange Line.
Ground transport: You can also find shuttles to both airports , $14-$16 from either airport, to downtown. (GoAirport Express: http://www.airportexpress.com/)
Public Transportation: Between the buses and trains, it’s easy to get around. UIC’s campus (where we will hold the conference) is accessible via the Blue Line, at the Illinois Medical District station. All trains meet up in the loop (downtown) and you can easily switch between lines. The 8, 7, 12, 60, and 157 buses (among others) also stop close to the campus. You can plan a trip using public transport route using googlemaps, or http://www.transitchicago.com/.
