Postdoctoral Teaching-Research Fellowships at the Field Museum

The Field Museum and the Department of Anthropology at UIC have worked together to train and support PhD students for over ten years. In 2011, our collaborative efforts developed an important addition to the program, establishing a special group of Postdoctoral Awards. These awards combine research using the Field Museum’s collections with undergraduate teaching experience at UIC. The goals of the Postdoctoral Awards are to provide additional, advanced-level training to the next generation of researchers and to help launch our PhD graduates into successful university and museum careers.
