Internal and External Grants for Undergraduates
The Anthropology Department offers two awards to Majors for excellence and special achievement in the major. These are the Nasrin Mohani Award, endowed by a former UIC undergraduate, and intended for underrepresented or financially struggling students, and the Joshua Terry Award, endowed in the memory of a UIC anthropology major who passed away. These two prizes carry a small monetary award, and are presented annually at a Field Museum reception.
If you have questions about our program, please see the FAQ page, contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies, or contact the Social Sciences Advisors at (312) 996-3366.
