Join us for the Spring 2024 Weekday Afternoon Anthropology Talks (WAATs)! Talk this semester will take place in-person in BSB 2105 on select Mondays from 12pm to 1pm. Refreshments will be provided by the Anthropology Department. We hope you can join us!
February 5 - Dr. Elizabeth Goodman and Dr. John Monaghan present "Center for the Recovery and Identification of the Missing (CRIM): An Overview." This presentation will include a talk and an open house and will go until 2pm.
February 12 - Aditi Aggarwal presents "How to start pivoting into a non-academic career pathway (LinkedIn, resumes, and networking)"
February 26 - Dr. Justyna Baron presents "Specialization and Seasonality: Some examples from the Central European Bronze Age crafts"
March 4 - Dr. Zeynel Gül presents "Why Do Workers Go to Court? Law, Event and Self-Making in Turkey's Occupational Diseases Cases"
April 8 - Dr. Anna Roosevelt presents "The Environment of Human Evolution in Africa Revised, with Implications for Our Past, Present, and Future"
