Four Graduate Students Honored with Graduate College Awards
Four UIC Anthropology graduate students have been honored with awards from the Graduate College at the end of the Spring 2023 semester.
Shilpa Menon has been awarded a Dean's Scholar Fellowship for the 2023-2024 academic year to support her dissertation, "'You Can't Feed Us, But You Will Count Us:' Transgender Politics and State Power in South India."
Maisa Guevara Duque and Riya Sharma have both won Awards for Graduate Research to support their work.
Zoey Martin-Lockhart was awarded a Provost's Graduate Internship to work with Docs with Disabilities Initiative (Chicago) for three months.
