About
I am an anthropologist specializing in archaeology in the Andes. I am interested in the interactions between politically complex polities. My current research touches on the symbolic significance of pigments as a prestige good and examining how these goods were sourced, manufactured, and distributed between the Wari and Tiwanaku empires during the Middle Horizon period (AD 600-1000).
