About
As a Master's student at UIC, I will be using my interdisciplinary background to research ancient DNA in the ancient genetics laboratory of Dr. Sloan Williams. I am interested in trade, migration and other forms of contact between people. I even wrote one of my senior comprehensive exam papers about tracing bananas through antiquity from the earliest evidence of their cultivation to possible areas of distribution along established trade routes, using a combination of historical, archaeological and biological research.
