I am a Nigerian and a PhD graduate student at the University of Illinois Chicago where I study Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeology. My research interests involve studying the relationship between human environments and their activities in South-eastern Nigeria to understand the reasons for migration and abandonment of settlements within a specified period. I am also interested in archaeometallurgy and settlement patterns.
